Please join us for the 5th annual FCVN Picnic and Volleyball Tournament.

WHEN: Saturday June 2, 2012, 9am-6pm. 9am check in, 9:30am tournament starts.
WHERE: Bull Run Park, 7700 Bull Run Drive, Centreville, VA 20121. Picnic Shelter 1 – park entrance fee for non-residents (outside Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, cities of Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax) is $4 per car.
TICKETS: picnic: $15 adult, $7 child 5-12, free 0-4. VBall: $210/team (7 players, coed w/ 2 girls minimum). Purchase of VBall team covers both volleyball and picnic. Please pay by May 10, 2012, no payment will be accepted at the park.

*Hurry 25-TEAM LIMIT* 3 divisions: competitive A, intermediate BB and recreational B.

On February 10, 2012, the club room at Café Asia was packed with 400+ beautiful people. Over twenty gorgeous volunteers were up for auction. Cupids/MCs Neal Huynh and Ryan Tran were hard to miss with their strategically-placed hearts. Toan Nguyen played the dual role of MC and auctionee. MC Phoenix was also on stage providing support to the troops. Even FCVN President Tammy Pham was on the auction block—it’s for the kids! Emily Duong received the highest bid at 1k from lucky winner, Yong Ho. The following night, twenty couples had a sumptuous meal at Hong Kong Pearl, followed by less-than-American-Idol karaoke at Viet Bistro. Date night reluctantly ended past midnight, with everyone hugging, kissing and promising another get-together soon. Thanks to your generous donations, FCVN was able to raise $10k toward the purchase of bicycles for children in Vietnam!!!

Date auction was made possible by the work of many volunteers: August Remy, Tuan Van, Tammi Kalugdan, Thai Bright, and many on-the-spot volunteers. We are very grateful for the beautiful Valentine stage balloon creation by Joseph Kaufman & Co., donation by Super Pho, and stage rental, club space and personnel provided by Café Asia. Since this was our first date auction, we apologize for all of the unforeseen glitches. Thanks again for supporting our mission work and for choosing to make a positive difference.
